The only way to Heaven

How can I be saved? What does God want from me? How can I get right with God? The answers to these questions are found in God’s word, the Bible.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16 KJV

The good news of the Gospel is that God loves us so much that he sent his only Son to pay the price for our sins on the cross. When we accept his gift of salvation by trusting in Jesus, we have eternal life. The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for the sins of the world when he was crucified on the cross. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53: 5-6 KJV

None of us are good enough to get into heaven by our own good works. No one. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.

Romans 3:10  KJV

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:23  KJV

God demands perfection and we all fall short. But God loves us so much that he sent his only Son to die on the cross for us. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16  KJV

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8  KJV

Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to many people, proving that he was God. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1Peter 1:3-5  KJV

In order for us to go to heaven, we need to accept God’s gift. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 1:12-13 KJV

Salvation is by God’s grace, through faith; not by any good works that we can do. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Galatians 3:24  KJV

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9  KJV

Do not harden your heart.  God is reaching out to you today. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 11:28-30  KJV

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts 4:12  KJV

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:6  KJV

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Rom 10:9-10 KJV
